Shepherd Eco
Multi-Family & Mixed-Use

Shepherd Eco

The Shepherd Eco mixed-use project consists of two different buildings: one catered toward hospitality for the Shepherd Eco brand of boutique hotels, and the second catered toward residential clients. At the ground level, commercial spaces line the street along NE 27th Street. There is also an expansive outdoor rooftop garden on the fourth story, accessible directly from the residential units. The Boutique Hotel provides great views of downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay to the east and to the west, views of the heart of Wynwood’s Arts District. The ground floor contains a small retail and F&B space as well as a mezzanine art gallery to continue the district’s art programing indoors.

Shepherd Eco is designed with several resiliency initiatives such as stormwater gardens, rooftop community farming, and cisterns for collecting water. This project also focuses on connecting people to Wynwood’s dynamic and artistic neighborhood. Shepherd Eco features a cross-block pedestrian paseo on the west side of the property, providing access for pedestrians. Additionally, the building intersects with a sizeable landscaped green space, envisioned as a neighborhood amenity for residents and hotel guests, which can also be used to promote creative community events.
